Advanced Beginner / Novice

Practice Times:

Sunday 12pm-1pm; January 12-March 1 (no practice 2/16 or 2/23)

 

Show team members will be learning show TEAM routines so it is imperative that they attend all practices. Missing dancers makes it very challenging to properly choreograph and practice the dances in preparation for shows.  We won’t know the exact show schedule until later in February. While we understand there could be some prior commitment conflicts, we do expect show team members and parents to prioritize performance attendance. 

 

All Advanced Beginner / Novice show team dancers are required to wear a school dress, beginner costume, or ceili dress. Along with, beginner bun wig, blue scrunchie, royal blue show team earrings, white bow and white poodle socks for shows and parades.

Novice / Prizewinner

All Novice / Prizewinner show team dancers are required to wear the standard N/PW show team outfit which consists of: black long-sleeve leotard; black show skirt; blue waist wrap; black opaque tights; show team earrings, tight curled full wig, and show team headband; and white bow.

PC & OC

Practice Times:

OC- Saturdays 2:30pm-3:30pm; January 18-March 7

PC - Saturday 3:30-4:30pm; January 18-March 7​

All PC/OC show team dancers are required to wear the standard PC/OC show costume:

• black long-sleeve leotard

• black show skirt - skirts must be of the appropriate fit and length. Skirt must reach to the dancers fingertips when the skirt top is resting on their natural waist. All skirts will be checked at the first practice and dancer may be required to purchase a new or used skirt if it does not fit properly.

• black opaque tights 

• tight curled full wig

• show team makeup (grey smokey eye & red lipstick)

• blue show team earrings

• blue show team headband

• white show team bow

• blue cape

• teardrop pin & MT crest pin
